Mark has done exclusively litigation since his call to the Bar in 1977. His work includes years of experience at all levels of court and significant experience before administrative tribunals. He is experienced in the defence of professional malpractice claims, having defended doctors, nurses, psychologists, dentists, lawyers and insurance brokers. Mark also has extensive experience in appellate work both at the British Columbia Court of Appeal (where he clerked to The Honourable Mr. Justice Seaton as part of his articling)and up to the Supreme Court of Canada. His cases have also involved significant questions concerning interpretation of insurance policies. He also acts as a mediator and is a frequent lecturer in areas of continuing legal education related to litigation.
