Hailee joined Guild Yule as an articled student in 2017 after earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2016. As a co-op student at the Faculty of Law, she completed work terms at a labour union and a non-profit organization. Hailee also served as Co-President of the Animal Law Club and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada.
Hailee has experience in the area of general insurance litigation, including the defence of educational institutions, health authorities, municipalities, professionals, and businesses. She has assisted on files involving personal injury, property damage, bad faith, medical malpractice, and product and occupiers liability. Hailee has also provided litigation support to a partner and an associate at a two week trial at the Supreme Court of British Columbia. In October 2017, Hailee assisted with preparing a presentation on cyber insurance, delivered by a partner at the 2017 CLE Insurance Law Conference.
