Laura practices primarily in general commercial and insurance civil defence litigation, including defence of municipalities, educational institutions, health authorities, professionals, and businesses, as well as handling subrogation matters. Her practice also includes human rights, strata, and employment law. She has a particular interest in the areas of professional and institutional liability, medical malpractice, product liability, negligence, defamation, and intellectual property. Prior to joining Guild Yule, she gained experience in the area of class action litigation.
Laura attended the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and was called to the bar in 2016 after completing her Articles with Guild Yule.
