Brenda is a senior paralegal with Guild Yule, with 34 years of experience in insurance defence litigation. After working for many years as a legal assistant, she obtained a law degree from UBC in 1995 but chose to focus on raising her three boys rather than practice as a lawyer. Returning to Guild Yule in 2004 as a paralegal, she provides support to lawyers in all aspects of file management from commencement through to mediation, trial or settlement. She has extensive experience with various document management support systems used for complex, document-intensive claims, providing assistance and technical support to lawyers and clients for collection of electronically stored data and the review, analysis and production of that information.
Brenda’s personal interests include playing ice and floor hockey, managing teams for the Richmond Minor Hockey Association, and helping to run community events and programs for the Hamilton (Richmond) Community Association where she has served as a board member since 1999.
