Biography
Gillian joined Guild Yule as an articled student after completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta in 2020. Prior to attending law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia. Gillian has practiced as a registered nurse in psychiatry and infectious disease. She brings her experience with conflict resolution, problem-solving, and active listening to her legal career.
During her post-secondary education, Gillian volunteered with campus mental health initiatives and as a student representative for the College of Registered Nurses of BC. During law school, she participated in the Level Justice Mentorship Program, which addressed emerging issues of access to justice and equity in the practice of law. Gillian competed in the Bennett Jones Health Law Moot and received an award of Top Oralist.
Gillian enjoys running, golfing, and spending time in the mountains.
