Biography
Madeline is a Summer Student at Guild Yule LLP and anticipates completing their Juris Doctor in 2025 at the University of Victoria. Madeline earned their Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies from Trinity Western University in 2017. Upon finishing their undergraduate studies, Madeline worked in the HIV, hepatitis C, and harm reduction non-profit sector in program planning, research, and evaluation, including three years as the Community-Based Research Coordinator for PAN (formerly the Pacific AIDS Network).
So far in law school, Madeline has served as the UVic Representative for CBA British Columbia’s Sexuality and Gender Diversity Alliance Section (SAGDA) and as an events coordinator for UVic’s OUTLaws club. Madeline has also been a member of UVic’s HARD (Harm Reduction and Drug Decriminalization) Law club. In their first year summer, Madeline completed a co-op semester at the Department of Justice in the Public Safety, Defence, and Immigration Portfolio.
When not at their desk, Madeline can be found hiking in the woods, falling off a paddleboard, or in cat-cow pose at hot yoga.
