Mimi is a civil litigator, in the area of general insurance defence. Mimi’s practice is focused on providing risk management advice, investigating, and defending claims on behalf of health authorities, educational institutions, public institutions, and professionals. Her practice includes medical malpractice, professional liability, personal injury, and human rights matters. Mimi has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and several administrative tribunals. She also has experience assisting professionals in regulatory matters.
Mimi completed her B.A. at the University of Cambridge, J.D. at the University of Toronto and LL.M. (Jurisprudence and Legal Theory) at University College London, before joining Guild Yule LLP as an Articling Student in 2012. Mimi was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2013.
