Biography
Shannon is a Summer Articled Student at Guild Yule LLP and anticipates completing her Juris Doctor in 2024 at Thompson Rivers University. Shannon earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia in 2017, majoring in Political Science. Following her undergraduate studies, Shannon worked as a Program Officer for the federal government where she worked in social programs such as assisted living, child and family services and income assistance, as well as serving as a compliance Program Analyst.
During law school, Shannon worked part-time as a Senior Regional Program Officer at Indigenous Services Canada. In addition, she was a volunteer Summer Student clinician at the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. For her academic achievements, Shannon received Dean’s Course Prizes for Administrative Law and Community Lawyering.
Outside of law, Shannon may be found watching the Food Network or playing with her cat.
