Taylor has experience in the area of general insurance defence litigation, including the defence of municipalities, educational institutions, health authorities, professionals, and businesses. He has assisted on files involving professional liability, personal injury, defamation, property damage, human rights complaints and employment matters. His areas of interest include personal injury, subrogation and employment law.
Taylor joined Guild Yule LLP in 2015 as a summer articled student, before earning his Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria in 2016. In his final year at law school, Taylor represented UVIC at the Gale Moot. He previously completed an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia.
Prior to pursuing law, Taylor was a competitive rugby player. He brings the passion, commitment and strong resolve required of sport to the practice of law.
