Human Rights Law

We regularly represent school boards, health authorities, housing providers and other corporate entities in the defence of human rights complaints.  Our lawyers regularly appear before the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal at hearings, and have also appeared before the B.C. Supreme Court on judicial reviews of Tribunal decisions.  Guild Yule has acted as counsel on a number of leading cases in the area of Human Rights law, most notably relating to the provision of educational services to students.  We also have experience in providing opinions to our clients as to the effect of the Human Rights Code on their business practices and employment decisions.
