Ruth’s practice covers an extensive range of civil litigation matters, including insurance defence, commercial and contract disputes, medical malpractice, and employment and law. Ruth has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the British Columbia Supreme Court, including as trial counsel.
While attending law school at the University of British Columbia, Ruth competed in the Wilson Moot and was co-president of the UBC Law and Medicine Society. Ruth also holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University where she received the Ontario Graduate Scholarship and a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council grant for her research.
Prior to joining Guild Yule LLP, Ruth practiced at a prominent National firm.
