Emma is currently a Summer Student at Guild Yule LLP and anticipates completing her Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University in 2027. She earned her Bachelor of Arts (Honours with Distinction) in Human Rights and Law from Carleton University.
During law school, Emma has volunteered with the Ask Justice Education Society (Ask JES) project providing legal information to both residents and visitors of BC on a variety of legal topics. Emma has also worked during her 1L summer and throughout her second year with the Okanagan Thompson Legal Clinic in a student capacity conducting legal research, drafting materials and practicing trauma-informed lawyering.
Outside of law school, Emma enjoys taking her hour-long walks all over Vancouver, reading on her Kindle or trying different flavoured iced matchas at cafés (she is currently loving earl grey matchas).
