Garrett practices insurance defence litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, property damage, occupiers’ liability, employment, and commercial matters. He has experience representing individuals, businesses, and insurers in a broad range of disputes before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.
Prior to joining Guild Yule LLP in 2026, Garrett specialized in insurance defence at a Vancouver litigation firm. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2021 after completing his Juris Doctor at Dalhousie University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of British Columbia.
Outside of his legal practice, Garrett enjoys playing guitar and exploring Vancouver’s live music scene. He remains a long-suffering fan of the Vancouver Canucks.
