Sarah maintains a general civil litigation practice. She has represented clients on a broad range of matters before various administrative tribunals, including the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, and before all levels of court in Nova Scotia prior to relocating to British Columbia. Her practice draws on five years in the public service, where she advised the Government of British Columbia on public policy, intergovernmental relations, legislation, and constitutional issues. She also developed corporate and securities expertise at leading global and national firms, as well as at a legal non-profit in London, England.
Sarah has a long record of public-interest advocacy. For four years she led a legal non-profit, advocating for legal and policy reform before provincial and federal legislators and representing the organization in regional and national media. She currently sits on the Board of the West Coast Legal Education and Action Fund.
Sarah is called to the bars of British Columbia and Nova Scotia.
