James conducts a broad civil litigation practice representing clients through the conduct of construction disputes and defect claims, property damage claims, employment claims, workplace investigations, occupiers liability claims, educational and facility supervision claims, and medical and professional malpractice claims.
James was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2023 after completing his articles with Guild Yule LLP. James has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia.
Prior to Law, James raced road bikes at an elite level, racing at the category 1/2 level in Canada and the category 2 level in the United States. He continues to ride his road bike but significantly slower.
