Kimia is currently a summer articled student at Guild Yule LLP and anticipates completing her Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University in 2023. Prior to attending law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Alberta, graduating with distinction. Kimia previously volunteered as a liaison court worker for the Elizabeth Fry Society of Edmonton and worked as a litigation legal assistant at a national law firm in Edmonton.
During law school, Kimia worked as a legal research analyst for Thomson Reuters® Westlaw and volunteered as the project lead for the Pro Bono Students Canada Legal Aid BC LiveHelp project. She recently served as a student clinician at the Thompson Rivers University Community Legal Clinic, where she provided legal assistance to low-income individuals in some of the following areas: residential tenancy; labour and employment; and matters before the Human Rights Tribunal.
Outside of law, Kimia enjoys hiking, travelling, and trying new brunch places.
